Job requirements

Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accommodation Manager to lead a team of Recovery Coordinators, ensuring high team performance and compliance with the relevant frameworks and standards. You will oversee the support offered to our residents, ensuring that the service is engaging and empowering. This is a full-time role, 37.5 hours/week, on a fixed term basis.


Key Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree or vocational qualification in health and social care.

  • 2 years’ experience managing support staff, incidents and difficult situations with resilience within a high supported mental health environment.

  • 2 years’ experience working with other professionals involved with supporting a client.

  • 5 years’ experience working with clients with enduring mental health, challenging behaviours, complex needs and substance misuse.

  • Understanding of the roles of statutory agencies involved in mental health.

  • Excellent knowledge of mental health conditions; dual diagnoses; equality, diversity and safeguarding procedures; quality assurance and compliance; support planning and risk assessment/management plans.

  • Strong computer skills and digital dexterity.

  • Experience in using Customer Relationship Management systems and databases.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in order to communicate appropriately with people at all levels and capacities.

  • Self-motivated and able to use own initiative to find solutions.

  • Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.

  • Ability to prioritise a varied workload.

  • Warm and friendly demeanour with a positive and open-minded attitude.
